In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues and ensuring a positive customer experience. RESPONSIBILITIES
• Respond to customer inquiries and issues related to purchase orders including product availability, order placement, tracking, modifications and ensure timely and accurate processing within one working day from receipt via phone and email
• Enter account, contact, lead and opportunity information, log calls and activities in Salesforce
• Work within the Sales Department to meet sales objective goals via customer service activities
• Maintain understanding of products to provide accurate information, recommendations and pricing to customers
• Process orders in Macola and Salesforce to verify customer account status and identify special circumstances or requirements
• Arrange special shipping requests by determining appropriate method of shipment, freight charges and preparing necessary documentation
• Inform manager of any anticipated shortages in finished goods inventory to ensure timely intervention and prevent potential backorders
• Document and systematize all routine work
• Observe the attendance and punctuality requirements of the Policy and Procedure on Working Hours.
• Perform special duties as assigned by the Customer Care Manager
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 1 year of Customer Service or Order Entry Experience
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer Experience with Microsoft 365 and CRM Software
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous work experience with Commercial Sound & Video and/or Assistive Communication devices
• Technical sales support experience
• ERP (Macola) experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT
This position requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer. This role requires the ability to travel periodically. Must be able to stand, walk and sit for extended periods during travel, events and meetings. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
