Human Resources Administrator

The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for supporting the HR department and the organization as a whole. Your responsibilities will encompass various administrative tasks related to employee management, payroll and benefit administration, recruitment, and maintaining HR records. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures.

This non-exempt position reports to the HR Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Prepare, verify and process biweekly payroll

•  Audit and resolve timecards, time off requests and expense approvals

•  Organize and maintain personnel records

•  Prepare and provide HR documents and reports as requested

•  Provide recruitment support including job description updates, postings and candidate follow up

•  Assist with onboarding and off-boarding processes and procedures

•  Complete pre-employment background checks, reporting and verifications

•  Assist in ensuring legal compliance with federal and state laws and regulations

•  Provide HR support for employee questions, HRIS technical issues, and benefit program information requests

•  Provide calendar and administrative support for HR director and CEO

•  Coordinate company meetings and events

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

•  Bachelor’s degree or 1-3 years Human Resources Administrative experience

•  Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Office 365 and Teams

•  Familiarity with state and federal labor laws

•  Familiarity with HR Management Software

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT OF POSITION

This position is regularly required to stand, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time at a computer. While performing the duties of this job, it is required to sit, talk or hear, and use hands.  You may be asked to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
