IT Assistant Intern

The IT Assistant Intern will gain hands on experience and develop skills in Information Technology and business operations with one on one mentorship from the Information Systems Manager.  In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations and support for IT to ensure the timely completion of projects through the 12-week internship in 2023.


•  Follow directions provided by the Information Systems Manager

•  Provide IT help desk support such as trouble-shooting employee issues, wiring, basic networking, and hardware set up

•  Create and update documentation on IT processes, tools and applications

•  Support, enhance, and maintain existing business applications to ensure availability, reliability and performance

•  Assist in new hire configuration set up and network access

•  Support programming projects and initiatives as assigned


•  Familiarity with desktop/laptops/tablet computers, Windows, MAC, Android, iOS, Microsoft Office Products

•  Knowledgeable in Basic Networking, Routing, Scripting, and coding

•  Willingness to learn and develop skills necessary to accomplish projects

•  Must be 17 years of age

•  Able to work and communicate with all levels of Management and staff

•  Knowledge in basic networking, routing, and scripting

•  Good attention to detail and problem solving skills

•  Strong knowledge of Microsoft office software

•  Excellent time management skills

This position works much of the time on a computer and can occasionally require the lifting of up to 40lbs. These physical requirements must be performed with or without accommodations.
