The Infinium T1 Transmitter with Outdoor Enclosure extends Auracast™ broadcast audio into outdoor and weather-exposed environments, making it possible to deliver assistive listening, language interpretation, audio description, and other audio services beyond the walls of a building.
The package includes an Infinium T1 Transmitter, an IP66-rated enclosure, and the components needed for installation. Rated for protection against dust ingress and high-pressure water exposure, the enclosure enables Infinium deployments to be installed outdoors while maintaining the same low-latency audio performance used throughout the Infinium platform.
Installation is straightforward. The transmitter connects to the Infinium Controller via a single CAT5 cable that carries power, audio, and control signals. The enclosure includes an IP66-rated ventilation cable gland for cable routing that equalizes pressure changes caused by temperature fluctuations while allowing humidity to escape. This helps prevent condensation from forming inside the enclosure. Multiple knockouts support optional conduit connections, and the enclosure can be painted to better blend into its surroundings.
Whether deployed at a stadium, outdoor performance venue, transit station, campus, theme park, or other outdoor gathering space, the Infinium T1 Transmitter with Outdoor Enclosure provides a practical way to extend Auracast coverage wherever listeners need it.
