Infinium T1 Transmitter (Black)

BA-T1BK

The ‌Infinium ‌T1 ‌Transmitter now comes in black. With that darker finish, it disappears more easily into dark ceilings and fits better in theaters, performance spaces, lecture halls, and other areas where the look of the room matters.

The T1 transmitter is an expansion component of the patented Infinium Auracast™ broadcast audio system. Built for streaming multiple channels of low-latency Auracast audio, the T1 lets a venue run assistive listening, multilingual interpretation, audio description, and other uses from one system. Auracast can send audio up to 100 meters to any number of listeners.

Guests can tune in using their own Auracast compatible hearing aids, cochlear implants, earbuds, headphones, or smartphones, or they can use a handheld Infinium receiver supplied by the venue. Setup stays straightforward. The T1 connects to the Infinium Controller with a single CAT5e cable, which delivers power, audio, and control at the same time.

The Infinium system is also made to grow with a venue’s changing needs. Transmitters are easily managed with through Infinium’s Enhanced System Management (ESM) capabilities. ESM allows transmitters to be named, grouped into arrays, and to have audio settings applied across multiple transmitters simultaneously.

Designed ‌with ‌growth ‌in mind, the Infinium® T1 Transmitter is part of the patented Infinium Auracast™ broadcast audio system. It’s made in the USA, is TAA-compliant, and allows AV teams to scale both audio channels and coverage without adding extra controllers. Each transmitter works within the Infinium system to deliver synchronized, low-latency audio across large or complex environments.

Using a single CAT5 connection handles power, audio, and control, making installation fast and flexible. When paired with Infinium’s Enhanced Scale & Management (ESM) features, teams can easily add, organize, and manage multi-transmitter deployments through a centralized web interface. The result is smooth, consistent audio coverage across rooms, zones, and entire facilities.

Infinium Auracast broadcast audio is ideal for:

  • Large venues and multi-room facilities
  • Theaters, lecture halls, and transportation hubs
  • Multi-language, audio description, and program audio delivery
  • Expanding existing Infinium system installations
  1. What does the Infinium T1 Transmitter do?
The T1 expands an existing Infinium system by adding audio channels and extending coverage into additional rooms, zones, or larger spaces.
  2. Does the Infinium T1 work as a standalone Auracast transmitter?
No. The Infinium T1 is an expansion transmitter that requires an Infinium controller to operate. Multiple T1 transmitters can be connected to a single controller, and each transmitter can receive its own Dante audio stream.

  3. How is the Infinium T1 transmitter powered?
The Infinium T1 receives power, audio, and control through a single CAT5 cable connected to an Infinium controller. It can also be powered using a PoE (Power over Ethernet) switch for added installation flexibility.

  4. How does the T1 support large deployments?
Multiple transmitters can be deployed across a space to provide consistent audio coverage, all managed centrally through Infinium’s Enhanced Scale and Management (ESM) features.
  5. How is the transmitter installed?
The T1 connects using a single CAT5 cable that carries power (PoE), audio, and control—making installation fast and efficient.
  6. What types of audio can be delivered with additional transmitters?
Additional transmitters allow venues to offer multiple audio streams, including assistive listening, language interpretation, audio description, and program audio.
