OA 50

The Ovation™ OA-50 is an all-in-one classroom audio amplifier that combines a wireless receiver and mixer operating on the DECT 1.92–1.93 GHz frequency band used in North America. Designed to improve speech clarity and support inclusive learning, it integrates a wireless microphone receiver, audio mixer, and a 50-watt amplifier capable of driving up to four speakers for consistent room coverage.

It features Video Conference Sync with EchoGuard™, which eliminates audio feedback loops, ensuring clear, intelligible sound for both in-person and hybrid instruction. The OA-50 connects easily to classroom AV through four line-level inputs for laptops, displays, and media devices. Dedicated connections support assistive listening systems, paging, fire alarms, and teacher-initiated security alerts, making it a flexible hub for modern education learning environments.

Works with Ovation wireless pendent and handheld mics available separately and in systems.

By combining a wireless DECT microphone receiver, multi-channel audio mixer, and a powerful 50-watt amplifier into one compact unit, Ovation delivers clear, intelligible, and interruption-free sound that keeps students engaged and teachers effortlessly heard.

  • Noise-Free Multimedia with Anti-Hum. Eliminate the distracting “ground loop” buzz caused by charging laptops. Ovation includes a dedicated computer audio input with switchable Anti-Hum isolation, ensuring clean, noise-free audio for videos, presentations, and instructional media.
  • Hybrid Learning Ready with EchoGuard™. Prevent remote audio echo before it disrupts instruction. Video Conference Sync with EchoGuard™ automatically removes feedback loops by stopping remote students’ voices from being re-captured by classroom mics—providing consistent, two-way clarity for hybrid learning.
  • Integrated Safety & Paging. Ovation supports school-wide communication and safety systems by automatically muting audio inputs during Fire Alarms and Pages. Paging announcements also pass through to the Assistive Listening System (ALS) output so every student—including those using ALS devices—receives critical information. The system additionally supports teacher-initiated security alerts via the Ovation wireless pendant microphone.
  • Crystal-Clear DECT Wireless. Operating on interference-resistant DECT frequency bands (1.92–1.93 GHz for North America and 1.88–1.90 GHz for international regions), Ovation ensures stable wireless performance and high speech intelligibility. Digital Feedback Guard (DFG) minimizes in-room squealing, while the 50-watt amplifier powers up to four speakers for evenly distributed, high-clarity sound.
  • Total Control & Classroom Connectivity. Designed for flexibility and future-proof integration, Ovation features four line-level inputs for interactive flat panels, computers, and media devices. RS-232 compatibility supports seamless third-party control. Wireless microphones include Auto-Reconnect, instantly restoring the link if a teacher briefly moves out of range.
