Eden Prairie, MN – November 20, 2025 – Williams AV, a global leader in assistive communication technology, today announced the launch of the Ovation™ 1880 DECT amplifier (OA-50-1880), expanding its TeachLogic education audio product line to new international markets. Operating on 1.88–1.90 GHz DECT frequency, the Ovation 1880 is the first Ovation model specifically designed for use in Europe, Australia/New Zealand, the Middle East, and parts of Asia and Africa.
Built on the same platform as the highly successful North American Ovation DECT amplifier (OA-50), the Ovation 1880 delivers the same trusted performance, intuitive design, and classroom-focused features in a configuration optimized for global DECT standards. The result is a complete, easy-to-integrate soundfield solution that enhances voice clarity, supports hybrid learning, and ensures every listener can engage fully—whether in the classroom or online.
“As demand for modern classroom audio continues to grow worldwide, the Ovation 1880 marks an important milestone in our international expansion,” said Per Persson, VP of International Sales & Product Management at Williams AV. “By engineering it for international DECT operation, we’re expanding Williams AV’s footprint worldwide and empowering educators with tools that ensure every student can hear, understand, and engage in classroom learning.”
The Ovation 1880 combines a wireless microphone receiver, audio mixer, and 50-watt amplifier in one compact unit—serving as the centerpiece of a modern instructional audio system.
